Alibris is absolutely horrible! I ordered school books in May. They specifically stated that they would be here by a certain day -- way before school started. School started and the books still werent here. They refused to give my money back until I sent the books back --which I did not have yet. So I had to spend another $150 from another company to get the school books here. Once Alibris books finally arrived, they stated that they would refund my money, minus the restocking fee. Imagine that. I have to pay for restocking when I didnt get the books by the date they told me. The kicker is that it is July 9, 2010 --7 weeks later-- and I still have not received my money. Like others have stated, they will not provide a phone number to a live body, even when I have asked repeatedly in the same email. They will not answer a question directly, but instead give general canned answers that does not help. I hate that I ever did business with this shady company and warn anyone else out there NOT to go with them.
